Leah Nickie has selected skincare lines that reflect our belief that organic, natural and environmentally responsible products can and do provide the very best for our skin, our bodies, and our planet. All our skincare products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Leah Nickie Advanced Aesthetics llc is medically directed by Dr. Cynthia Ruggero, a Board Certified MD and a member of the International Association of Physicians for Aesthetic Medicine.
LEAH NICKIE – OWNER
A life long vegetarian, avid organic vegetable and flower gardener, athlete and yogi, Leah Nickie was drawn to Boulder 15 years ago for its natural beauty and active lifestyle. Leah, her husband Terry and their son Eli enjoy the Colorado lifestyle including snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. As a student of a master aesthetician with 45 years experience, Leah quickly became the lead aesthetician for one of Colorado’s premier Medical spas for nearly 5 years.
Leah has always chosen a healthy lifestyle and advanced aesthetics will become an extension of her views on health, nature and beauty. Committed to natural healthy skin and a clean environment, Leah has chosen products with sustainable business practices, recyclable packaging, biodegradable bags and companies who donate a portion of their proceeds to foster stewardship of the environment and help to fight against poverty.
DR. CYNTHIA RUGGERO – MEDICAL DIRECTOR
As a board certified medical professional, Dr. Cynthia Ruggero combines her experience in emergency medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago with her specialized training in aesthetic medicine to create a personalized approach to medical aesthetics. Her calm, kind, accurate and artistic technique is dedicated to superior client comfort and has earned her the reputation as a leading medical aesthetics professional. Using only pure, non animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel dermal fillers, Dr. Ruggero works with each patient to create the most appropriate solution for the best possible results. Dr. Ruggero is a member of the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine and is currently the medical director of Leah Nickie Advanced Aesthetics.
Outside of the office Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling with her family, cycling, skiing and studying art.
